Protective polyethylene pipes for FOCL(fiber optic communication line) laying
In 2019, the production of protective polyethylene pipe for fiber-optic communication lines of various diameters was mastered and launched. For this purpose, the specialists of our company improved the existing equipment for the production of polyethylene pipes for the production of pipes with internal grooving, as well as for the production of two-layer products.
Protective polyethylene pipes for laying fiber optic lines are a reliable protection of fiber-optic cable from mechanical damage (in particular, from rodents). Therefore, for the organization of a fiber-optic line with the help of APT, inexpensive fiber-optic cables (unarmored) can be used, reducing the cost of laying the route. However, after laying, each cable line must be checked for damage, for example, using an optical time domain reflectometer. It is possible to lay several OST in a row with an eye to the subsequent expansion of the network without additional excavation. In addition, the replacement of an outdated cable will not require much effort and cost (it is possible to lay a cable of large construction length without a cut).
Damage to the optical cable during excavation work is also excluded, since it is placed in the OST only after its laying is completed.
