Geogrids polymer cells manufactured by S.M.F.-System
The polymer cellular geogrid is a three-dimensional cellular structure of various sizes - a folding module made of polyethylene geobands (tapes) of various thicknesses, and interconnected by two-row point, arranged in a staggered manner, or linear welds that form volumetric cells.
Polymer cellular geolattices are used:
- in road surfaces made of granular materials;
- for layers of bases of road pavements;
- for functional sites for various purposes (parking lots, storage and transshipment sites, etc.);
- for covering playgrounds (parking lots, playgrounds, etc.) with a grassy top layer;
- in the development of deposits, to protect culvert systems, berths and banks from erosion;
- for erosion protection of bridge cones and pipeline outlets;
- in the construction of retaining walls;
- to strengthen the slopes of the roadbed of roads and railways;
- in berths for sea and river vessels;
- in foundations for retaining walls with a widened heel;
- for the disposal of harmful and toxic waste;
- with the strengthening of building structures and for strengthening the foundations ofindustrial and civil structures, airfields in transport, hydraulic, industrial and civil construction, other industries;
Performs the following functions:
- reinforcement of layers of bases of road pavements;
- reinforcement of slopes of embankments;
- control of erosion of slopes of embankments and slopes;
- filtration (perforated geogrid) - prevention of displacement, subsidence, cracking of building structures;
- drainage of excess water.
